Bastion

Bastion is like a wall made out of stone, steel or thick concrete, and it is used to guard a place and make it extra safe. People usually build bastions around castles, forts and important buildings like city halls and government buildings. Inside the bastion, soldiers can live, stay hidden and be ready to fight anyone who tries to attack what the bastion is there to protect.
