ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Bathtub

A bathtub is like a big, fancy pool that is meant for washing yourself. It's made out of a hard material like porcelain, ceramic or acrylic and it may have any shape, size, and color.

To use a bathtub, you need to fill it with water from the faucet on the wall or ceiling. The water can be hot, cold, or a mixture of both. You can also add some bubbles using a special soap called bubble bath, or add some nice-smelling oils or salts.

Once your bathtub is filled with water at the perfect temperature, you can climb in and relax your body. You can splash around in the water, use a sponge or washcloth to clean yourself, or you can just sit back and enjoy the warm, comforting water.

When you're ready to get out, you need to drain the water from the bathtub by pushing a lever or pulling a plug. That way, none of the water will overflow onto the floor.

Overall, taking a bath in a bathtub can be a fun and relaxing activity - just don't forget to rinse off once you're done!
