Behavioral ecology

Behavioral ecology is the study of how animal behaviors (things animals do) help them survive in their environment and interact with other animals. It is like looking at how animals do things that help them find food, protect themselves and their young, or find a mate. Scientists in this field look at how behaviors help animals and how animals might change their behaviors depending on their environment.
