ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Bicameralism

So, bicameralism is like having two houses (kinda like a house with two floors, but not really). In some countries, they have two houses in their government that make decisions together. This is called bicameralism.

The two houses are called the upper house and the lower house. The upper house is usually smaller and has less people, while the lower house is bigger and has more people.

Both houses have their own job to do. The upper house usually makes sure things are fair and balanced, while the lower house makes laws and decisions. They work together to make sure everything is fair and just.

Bicameralism is sort of like having two parents who have to agree on what to do. They both have their own job to do, but they work together to make sure everything is good for the family.
