Bifora (architecture)

Bifora in architecture is like a fancy window that has two parts. Imagine a house with a window that has two parts which can be opened separately. The top part is called the top sash and the bottom part is called the bottom sash. Bifora is a similar idea but the two parts are usually the same size and don't move. Think of them like two big eyes on a building that let in lots of light. It's a special type of window that is often found in buildings that are really old or really important, like churches or castles. They look really pretty and can make a building look really grand and impressive.
