Bioarchaeology

Bioarchaeology is when people who study bones and dead bodies try to learn about people who lived long ago. These people use lots of different tools, like magnifying glasses and computer software, to look very closely at the bones and teeth of old bodies. They study the shape and size of the bones, how the bones are arranged, and what kinds of things the bones are made of. By doing this, they can learn about how old people lived, what foods they ate, how they moved around, and what kinds of diseases they had. Bioarchaeology helps us to learn more about how people lived in the past and can help us to better understand our world today.
