ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Bivalence

Bivalence basically means that something is either true or false and it doesn't have any other options. It's like a switch that can only be turned on or off. For example, if I asked you if it was sunny outside, you would answer yes or no. Yes would mean that it is sunny, and no would mean it is not sunny. So the answer is either true (yes) or false (no), and that's what bivalence is all about.
