Black legend (Spain)

The black legend is a name that people use to refer to a set of exaggerated or false stories about bad things that Spanish people have done. Some stories made Spanish people look bad, like they were cruel or didn't treat other people kindly. But usually these stories aren't true. They are just made up to make Spanish people look bad.
