Okay, so, the Blackwing 602 is a pencil.
Do you know what a pencil is? It's a long stick made out of wood or plastic with a colored pointy end called a lead. You use it to write or draw on paper.
But the Blackwing 602 is not just any old pencil. It's a special pencil that is known for its smoothness and ability to make dark, crisp lines.
The reason it's called the "Blackwing 602" is because it used to cost 60 cents and 2 cents (which adds up to 62 cents) when it was first created in the 1930s.
People really liked using the Blackwing 602 because it made their writing and drawing look really nice. Artists and writers such as John Steinbeck and Chuck Jones (the creator of Bugs Bunny) even said they loved using the Blackwing 602.
But the Blackwing 602 was discontinued in the 1990s, which made a lot of people sad.
However, in 2010, a new company started making Blackwing pencils again, including the 602! People were really happy that they could use their favorite pencil again.
