Brass instrument

A brass instrument is a thing that makes music when you blow air into it, sort of like blowing into a balloon. It is usually made out of metal and has a long, curvy shape with a wide opening at one end and a little mouthpiece at the other end that you use to blow into.

When you blow into the little mouthpiece, the air goes through a tube inside the instrument and comes out the big opening at the other end. This makes the metal vibrate and create sound that we hear as music.

Brass instruments are called that because they used to be made out of a type of metal called brass, which is shiny and gold-colored. But now they can also be made out of other metals as well.

Some common types of brass instruments that you might have seen before include trumpets, trombones, and tubas. They can make lots of different sounds and are often used in bands and orchestras to make beautiful music.
