Budget constraint

A budget constraint is like a line that separates what you can and can't afford. Everyone has a different budget and the line helps you figure out which things you can buy, and which things are too expensive. For example, if you have $10 and there's a toy that costs $15, the line will tell you that you can't afford the toy.
