Bundle adjustment

Bundle adjustment is a technique used in computer vision to make better estimates of camera positions and 3D shapes of objects in a scene. Imagine you have a bunch of blocks that you want to figure out how to arrange in a room. You could measure how far each block is from each other, but it would be really hard to figure out the exact arrangement of the blocks. Bundle adjustment is like having a ruler that measures the distances between the blocks and helps you figure out the best arrangement of the blocks in the room.
