ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Bus (computing)

A bus in computing is like a highway. It is a path that different pieces of hardware, like your keyboard or mouse, use to communicate with the central processing unit (CPU) in the computer. The bus carries the information from the hardware to the CPU and back. It's kind of like how you take a bus to get to school - the bus takes you and your friends to school, and then back home when the school day is over.
