California genocide
California genocide is a term used to describe the mass killings of Native American people in California that happened between 1850 and 1870. The purpose of this crime was to take over Native American land and resources for the benefit of settlers. It was a horrible time for Native Americans, who were treated very badly and lost their ancestral homes and lives.
