Canada permanent resident card

A Canada Permanent Resident Card is a special card that lets people who aren't Canadian citizens live and work in Canada permanently.

To get this card, people have to go through a process called immigration, which means they have to fill out a bunch of forms and answer lots of questions about themselves and their background.

Once they are approved, the government of Canada gives them this special card, which has a picture of them, their name, and their immigration information on it.

People who have this card can use it as identification within Canada, and they can also use it to leave and re-enter Canada whenever they want to travel.

It's important to keep this card up to date, because if it expires or isn't valid anymore, it could cause problems when trying to travel or work in Canada. So people need to renew it every few years and make sure the information on it is always accurate.
