Carbon accounting

Carbon Accounting is when you keep track of how much carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases (such as methane and nitrous oxide) are released into the atmosphere. It helps us understand how our activities are contributing to climate change. For example, if a factory is releasing too much carbon dioxide, carbon accounting can help us figure out how much it’s releasing, and whether or not it needs to reduce its emissions. This can help us all work together to reduce climate change.
