ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Catheter

A catheter is a tiny, flexible tube that doctors use to help pee-pee come out of your body if you can't go potty like normal. It is sometimes made of soft rubber and sometimes made of plastic. Doctors and nurses put it in through a little hole between your legs and gently slide it up to your bladder with special tools. This way, the pee-pee can go out of your body without you needing to go to the bathroom. When you don't need the catheter anymore, they take it out the same way they put it in. It might hurt a little bit, but it usually feels much better once it's out.
