Cellular manufacturing

Cellular manufacturing is like having a bunch of people living in a building. Each person does their own job, but the building is set up in a shape so that each person can work together to build something. So, for example, one person might cut pieces of wood to certain sizes, and another person might join them together to make a table. Then, someone else might sand the table to make it smooth, and another person might paint the table. At the end, you have a finished table that was built all by the people in the building working together.
