Change ringing

Change ringing is a type of bell ringing. It's like a musical instrument, but with bells! To make music, you need to pull different ropes attached to bells in different orders. Each time you pull a rope, the bell makes a sound. Different orders of pulling the ropes make different patterns of sound. It takes a lot of practice to be a good change ringer, because it's very hard to remember which rope to pull next. That's why change ringing is usually done in a group of people.
