Chogyal

So, buddy, a Chogyal is a title given to the kings who used to rule a place called Sikkim in India a long time ago. Sikkim is a beautiful place with mountains, forests, and rivers.

To understand what a Chogyal is, let's imagine a big playground where kids play. Just like the playground has rules, Sikkim used to have its own rules too. And the person who used to make and enforce these rules and looked after the people of Sikkim was called the Chogyal.

The Chogyal was a very important person, just like a principal of a school. They used to wear cool clothes and live in big palaces, just like a castle in fairytales.

But after some time, people in Sikkim decided they didn't want the Chogyal to be their king anymore, so they changed the rules, and the Chogyal's job wasn't required anymore.

So that's what a Chogyal is, a person who used to be the king of Sikkim, but now, they don't have that job anymore!
