Christian democracy

Christian democracy is a kind of political party or way of thinking about governing that some people believe in. It is based on the idea that what is good for people and the world should come from a Christian point of view. It also emphasizes being fair and looking out for the rights of everyone, not just certain groups of people. Christian democrats believe in the idea of a society that works for everyone - not just for those who are most powerful. They try to use peace and justice instead of violence. They don't always agree on the same things, but they share some basic beliefs in how Christianity should influence how they run their country.
