Clean label

Okay kiddo, have you ever looked at a food package and seen a long list of ingredients you can't pronounce or understand? Well, sometimes people get worried about those ingredients and want something simpler and more natural. That's when they start talking about "clean label."

Clean label just means that people want food products with fewer and simpler ingredients, without any artificial or synthetic stuff. They want food that's closer to how it was made in the past, using ingredients that come from the earth.

So, companies are starting to make products with clean label, and they try to make it clear on the package what's inside. They might take out things like artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, or high-fructose corn syrup. Instead, they might use ingredients like natural flavors, real fruit, or honey.

Clean label doesn't necessarily mean the food is healthier or better for you - it just means it's simpler and more natural. So, next time you see a package that says "clean label," you'll know that it's food that tries to be more like nature and less like chemicals!
