Cognitive grammar is like playing with words and their meanings. Imagine you are playing with Lego blocks to make a house. Just as you can connect different shapes and sizes of Lego blocks to make a house, cognitive grammar shows how we can connect different words and their meanings to make meaningful sentences.

For example, let's say you want to say "The cat is sleeping on the bed." You can take the word "cat" and the word "bed" and put them together in a sentence to convey this idea. Cognitive grammar helps us understand how language works by breaking it down into small pieces and understanding how those pieces fit together to create meaning. It's kind of like solving a puzzle, only with words!
