Cognitive science of religion is a way of explaining how religious beliefs develop and are shared by people. It looks at how the different parts of our brains - like memory, problem solving, and imagination - all work together to help us come up with ideas about religion. It also looks at how we learn religious beliefs from the people around us and how those beliefs shape who we are. Essentially, it's a way of exploring how people form and spread their religious beliefs, and how those beliefs affect the ways people behave.
