Colonization of Mars

Colonization of Mars means sending people and supplies to live on the planet Mars. So far, only robots and satellites have been sent to explore and study Mars, but in the future, scientists hope to send humans to the Red Planet to see if they can survive there. Colonization of Mars would be an incredibly difficult endeavor because of the extreme temperatures, lack of water, and thin atmosphere. To make colonization a reality, humans would need to bring oxygen and food, build shelter, and find ways of growing crops and providing energy. Even if it takes a long time, many people believe that one day it will be possible for humans to live and work on Mars.
