Commercialization of Indigenous Knowledge means that people who own certain knowledge and customs, like traditional songs and healing methods that have been passed down for generations, are able to make money from it. They can do this by creating products or services that use this knowledge and then selling those products or services to other people. This can be done by creating souvenirs, music, medicine, art and other objects inspired by Indigenous people and customs. By doing this, Indigenous people can benefit from the things they know and keep their knowledge alive.
