Common gate

A common gate is like a castle gate that controls who can get in or out. In electronics, it is a type of electronic circuit that can control whether electricity flows or not. It can be used to make sure electricity only flows through a certain path or to keep it from flowing altogether. It works by using a voltage (the amount of electricity) or current (the type of electricity). If the voltage or current is at the right level, then the gate will open and electricity will flow. If the voltage or current is too low, then the gate will close and keep the electricity from flowing.
