Computational biology is a way to use computers to study and better understand things related to biology. Computers are really good at quickly doing lots of calculations and looking for patterns, so scientists use them to answer questions about how things in nature work. For example, if scientists want to know what genes help make a plant grow big and strong, they can use computers to look at the different genes and how they work together. They can then use this information to create new plants that will grow better.
