Constructive vote of no confidence

A constructive vote of no confidence is when a group of people, like a government, decides they don't like the person in charge (let's call them the leader) anymore. Instead of just voting to kick the leader out right away, they try to find a new leader who everyone can agree on before they vote to remove the old leader.

It's like if you didn't like the teacher in your class, but you didn't want to just get rid of them without knowing who the new teacher would be. So, you might suggest to your classmates that you all work together to find a new teacher who you think would be better before you ask the principal to get rid of the old teacher.

This is called a constructive vote of no confidence because you are trying to improve the situation in a positive way instead of just being negative about it.
