Content-control software is a type of computer program that is used to limit what kinds of websites and other online content people can see. It can help adults protect children from seeing things that are not appropriate for their age, like violent or sexual content. Content-control software works by using rules and settings that you can set to only allow people to see certain types of content that you decide is ok. For example, you might only allow your child to see websites that are educational or related to hobbies they like. That way, they won't be able to accidentally find bad content.
