ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Copper conductor

Imagine you have a magic metal wire called copper. Copper is really good at letting electricity flow through it. So when you put electricity into one end of the copper wire, it will travel through the copper all the way to the other end.

And because copper is a really good metal, it doesn't waste any electricity on the way. That's why it's used in lots of electricity things, like wires in your house, phones, and even cars.

So if you ever see a copper wire, remember that it's a special kind of wire that lets electricity flow through it really easily!
