Copt

Well hello there little one! Today we are going to talk about something called copt. Copt is actually short for something else, which is Coptic Orthodox Church. It's a type of church that people in Egypt and other parts of the Middle East go to.

Now, you might be wondering, what makes the Coptic Orthodox Church different from other types of churches? Well, one thing is the language they use. They pray and sing in a language called Coptic, which is an ancient language that not many people speak anymore.

Another important thing to know about the Coptic Orthodox Church is that they follow the teachings of someone named Saint Mark, who was one of the apostles of Jesus. Saint Mark went to Egypt a long time ago and preached about Jesus, and many people there became Christians because of him.

The Coptic Orthodox Church also has some interesting traditions, such as fasting for long periods of time, like not eating any meat or dairy products for 50 days straight! They also use different types of incense and have beautiful artwork inside their churches.

So, that's a little bit about copt or the Coptic Orthodox Church. It's a special type of church that people in Egypt and other parts of the Middle East go to, where they use a special language and follow the teachings of Saint Mark.
