Corded Ware culture

Do you know what ancient means? It means from a really, really long time ago - older than your great-great-grandparents! The Corded Ware Culture comes from a very long time ago, thousands of years ago. People who lived during that time made their pottery in a special way, which left cord-like marks on the outside. That's why it's called Corded Ware Culture. They were also very good at making tools out of stones and bones. They lived in different parts of Europe and were known for being really good at riding horses and using bows and arrows. They were one of many different groups of people who lived a long time ago, and we can learn a lot about them from studying their tools, pottery, and other things they left behind.
