Cordon bleu (dish)

Alright kiddo, have you ever had chicken nuggets? Cordon bleu is like a fancy grown-up version of chicken nuggets that you might see in a fancy restaurant.

Instead of being made of ground-up chicken pieces, it's made with a whole chicken breast that has been pounded out thin and then stuffed with cheese and ham (like a little surprise hiding inside).

Next, the chicken breast is rolled up and coated with breadcrumbs, kind of like how you would coat chicken nuggets before you fry them. Then it's cooked in the oven until it's nice and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

That's essentially what cordon bleu is. It's a fancy way to make chicken that makes it taste really good and is fun to eat because of the surprise cheese and ham inside. Hope that helps!
