Corporate jargon

Corporate jargon is the special kind of language used by people at work, like businesses and other organizations. It is made up of words, abbreviations and phrases that only those in the organization understand. For example, instead of saying someone was fired, people might use the phrase "let go." They do this to make it sound more professional. Corporate jargon is used to make conversations between colleagues more efficient and clear.
