Correlation gap

Correlation gap means that two things seem related, but when you look closer you can't find a link. It's like if you see that two things happen at the same time, but when you try to figure out why they're happening, it's a mystery. You can see a connection, but it's not a cause and effect relationship. So it's like there's a gap between the two things that seems to get bigger the more you look.
