Cosmetovigilance

Cosmetovigilance is a big, long word that means the people who make and sell beauty products are trying really hard to make sure that those products are safe and won't hurt you.

You know how grown-ups are always telling you to be careful and not touch things or eat things that could hurt you? Well, cosmetovigilance is like the grown-ups doing that same thing, but for beauty products like shampoo, lotion, and makeup.

The people who make these products have to be very careful to make sure they don't use anything bad that could hurt your skin, eyes, or hair. They also have to test the products a lot to make sure they work well and won't cause any problems.

If someone gets hurt or has a problem with a beauty product, the people who make and sell that product will want to know about it. They'll look into what happened and try to fix the problem so it won't happen again.

So basically, cosmetovigilance is all about making sure beauty products are safe and won't hurt you, and trying to fix things that might go wrong.
