Council of Jerusalem

The Council of Jerusalem was a meeting in a place called Jerusalem a really long time ago. People from all around the world came to that meeting. They wanted to talk about a big problem about how people believed in Jesus and how it should fit in with the traditional jewish faith. In the end, the people who attended the meeting agreed that following Jesus would not be against the traditional jewish faith. The meeting is important because it showed that different kinds of people who had different kinds of beliefs could come together and agree on things.
