ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Crateology

Crateology is the art of using crates to make things. You know what a crate is, right? It's a square or rectangular box that's usually made of wood, metal, or plastic. People use crates to store and transport things. But in crateology, people use crates to create all kinds of objects like furniture, storage solutions, and even homes!

Imagine you have a bunch of crates, and you want to make a small table. You would start by turning one crate upside down and using it as the base. Then, you would stack another crate right side up on top of the base. And you keep on adding more crates until you reach the desired height for your table. Finally, you might add a cool piece of wood on top of the stacked crates to create a tabletop.

Crateology is fun because you get to be creative and make cool things out of something that might otherwise be thrown away or overlooked. You can use different colors, shapes, and sizes of crates to make intricate designs, and you can even paint them to match your decor.

Overall, crateology is a fun way to recycle and upcycle materials, be creative, and make something unique and beautiful.
