Criticism of the Latter Day Saint movement

Okay, so there's a group of people called the Latter Day Saints or Mormons. Some people don't agree with some of the things they believe or do, and they have things that they say are criticism - which means they don't like it.

One thing some people don't like is that the Mormons believe in something called "continuing revelation." This means that their leader, the prophet, can still get messages from God today, like the prophets in the Bible did. Some people think it's strange to have a modern-day prophet.

Other people criticize the Mormons for their history with polygamy. This means having more than one wife at the same time. The Mormons used to practice this a long time ago, but they don't do it anymore. Some people still don't like that they did it in the past.

Lastly, some people think the Mormons are too separate from the rest of society. They have their own churches and schools and some people say they don't mix enough with people who have different beliefs. However, the Mormons say they want to keep their own community strong and that they still interact with others.
