Crocodile cracking

Crocodile cracking is when a road or other surface is cracked in a way that makes it look like the back of a crocodile. When the pavement gets old and breaks down, it can sometimes crack in patterns that look like the scales on the back of a crocodile. Crocodile cracking is an indication that the surface needs to be repaired because it is weak and can't handle the weight of cars, trucks and other vehicles.
