Crunch (exercise)

Have you ever heard of a crunch exercise? It's a kind of exercise that helps your tummy muscles get strong!

So, when you lay down on your back and bring your knees up, you put your hands behind your head and start to do little lifts. As you lift up, you want to squeeze your tummy muscles tight so they get strong. When you start to lower back down, you can relax your tummy muscles.

It's kind of like making a sandwich. When you squeeze the sandwich together, you make it strong and sturdy. When you let go, the sandwich becomes loose and weak again.

So, by doing crunches, you are making your tummy muscles strong and getting better at doing sit-ups and other fun exercises!
