Cubic inch

Hello! So, cubic inch is a way of measuring how much space something takes up. Imagine you have a toy box, and you want to know how many toys can fit inside of it. You can count how many cubes, each one inch on every side, can fit inside the box. That number tells you how many cubic inches the box can hold.

Now, let's say you want to know how big a car's engine is. We can measure that in cubic inches too! We would count how many cubes, each one inch on every side, can fit inside the engine. That number tells us how many cubic inches the engine is.
