ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Current limiting

Current limiting is like holding a balloon with only a little bit of air instead of blowing it up all the way. When something has too much electricity flowing through it, it can get damaged or even start a fire. Current limiting makes sure that only a certain amount of electricity can flow through something so it stays safe and doesn't get hurt. It's like a guard at the door of a party making sure only a certain number of people can come in so it doesn't get overcrowded and unsafe.
