ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Current source

A current source is like a special kind of battery, but instead of providing electricity measured in volts or power like a regular battery, it provides electricity measured in current. Think of current like how much water flows through a hose. A current source provides a set amount of current that is always the same, no matter how many things are connected to it or how far away they are. Just like a regular battery, you need to connect the right wires to it in order to make it work, but once it's connected, it keeps providing the same amount of current until you turn it off.

So, let's say you have a toy robot that needs a specific amount of current to run. You can use a current source to give it exactly the amount of current it needs, without worrying about giving it too much or too little. This can be really helpful in electrical engineering and designing circuits.
