De-Stalinization

De-Stalinization is when a country stops following the rules and policies of a leader named Josef Stalin. When this happened in the Soviet Union, it meant that the government stopped punishing people for small things, it gave more freedom to the people of the country, and it allowed people to express their opinions more freely. This change allowed the country to grow and become more modern.
