ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Decentralized computing

Decentralized computing is when there are lots of different computers all working together instead of just one big computer. Instead of one big computer that is in control of everything, lots of computers help and work together to process tasks and store information. This makes it so that if one of the computers in the group goes down, the others can pick up the slack and keep everything running smoothly. It's like having lots of little helpers all around the world helping each other out, so that everyone can get the job done faster.
