Degrees of glory

Degrees of glory are levels of happiness that people can arrive at after they pass away and go to Heaven. Just like in school, some people get really good grades, which means they get a better reward or prize. In Heaven, the higher level of glory you receive depends on how well you obeyed the teachings of the Bible while you were alive. People who followed the teachings and did the right things are rewarded in Heaven with more glory and happiness than people who did not do very well while they were alive. So, in Heaven, some people will get bigger and better rewards than others – like getting a bigger and better prize for getting better grades.
