ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Deplatforming

Deplatforming is when someone decides to stop giving someone else a platform for their speech or for their ideas. For example, if a store decides to stop selling a product because they don't agree with the company's ideas, they are deplatforming the product. It's like taking away someone's microphone, so they can't speak or share their ideas. It's a way to try to stop somebody from sharing their opinions.
