Depth gauge

A depth gauge is a tool that helps us measure how deep something is. It's like a ruler but for water or air. Imagine you have a fish tank at home and you want to know how much water is in it. You can use a depth gauge to measure it.

The depth gauge usually has a long stick or a ruler with numbers and lines marked on it. You can lower it into the water or air and see how far down it goes. The numbers and lines on the gauge tell you how deep it is.

The depth gauge can be used for lots of things. Scuba divers use it to measure how deep they are under the water. Pilots use it to measure how high their planes are flying in the sky. Scientists use it to measure the depth of oceans or lakes.

So, next time you need to measure how deep something is, you can use a depth gauge like a pro!
